Continuing Education Provider Policies

Attendance

New Perspectives Media will keep attendance throughout each program which will be used to verify the continuing education hours/credits awarded to each participant. Attendance will be taken, at a minimum, at the beginning of each day of every program. Additional attendance will be taken when required by a specific credentialing entity.

Certificates of Attendance

Verification of attendance will be provided only if the participant completes the entire program. One certificate of completion will be provided to each participant upon completion of a feedback survey which will be provided to all participants at the conclusion of the program.

Live Format and Independent Study Programming

Live format programming may be offered either in-person or virtually. In all live programming, participants will be able to interact with the presenter throughout the entirety of the program.

Independent study programming will be offered in a format which the participant can complete without interaction with the presenter.

Presenters, Content Creators, and Materials

New Perspectives Media will ensure that all program presenters and content creators are qualified by their experience, education, training, and/or credentials to create and present the content in question.

For both live and independent study programs, New Perspectives Media will ensure the content of all materials used remain updated to current standards. All materials in continuous use will be reviewed no less frequently than every two (2) years with revisions completed, as necessary. In the event that a significant change is made to clinical standards between scheduled reviews (for example, the publishing of a new version of the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual), materials will immediately be discontinued until they are updated with the new information.
